With Melle Smets and Tijs van den Boomen I'm developing a publishing format for a series of travel guides. In these guides, the ring roads of major cities are presented as a touristic attraction, as well as a means of discovering these cities in a new way. As an artist, Melle Smets has been working on the concept of highways as a cultural phenomenon for a decade now. Tijs van den Boomen is a journalist who has published fervently on this subject.
